ABOUT
Peter Thane
Peter started his professional career in 1988, as an apprentice for a small landscaping company in Sydney, Australia. During this time he gained qualifications in Stonemasonry, Bricklaying and Paving, with some extensive experience gained in Horticulture.
In 1992 Peter opened his landscape business as Peter Thane Landscapes, performing both hard and soft works for some of Sydney’s most influential Landscape Designers and Architects.
In 1998, he enrolled in the Landscape Design Diploma course at The Ryde School of Horticulture, Sydney. He renamed his business to Beau Jardin Landscape Design, after the influences and his love of working in gardens in southern France.
Peter Thane from Beau Jardin Landscape Design is an active member of the Landscape Design Institute, LDI. LDI is Australia’s leading professional association for qualified landscape designers and management professionals.
Peter is a registered Horticulturist RH 0155 and also a member of the Australian Institute of Horticulture and regularly attends seminars to stay up to date with what’s going on in the Landscape industry
